On my PW, Carryall and PG, I ran a piece of
.500x1.500x length inside the B Post and welded it in. The length is variable to fit the maximum vertical height available in the B Post. Before welding in a dry fit, I determined the height I wanted the top shoulder anchor. That was drilled in the steel stock and the sheet metal of the B Post.

Top shoulder bolt anchors are .4375" which appears to be a industry standard. The bottom anchors are backed up under the body with a large .4375" plate

Would it stand up to a DOT Seat Belt crash Test, I dont know. But its the best solution I could come up with. Hope I never need to test it.

My M37, due to body construction and the Arctic Top uses a 2.00x2.00x.250" tube from the floor up to the needed height in the Arctic top. Its anchored by welding and bolts to the tub and arctic top. Bottom anchors are the same as my other trucks mentioned above.

This is how I do it, but its not a recommended solution since I am not a engineer.

Paul
