Yep, sounds high. I used Kirker Ultra-Glo Acrylic Urethane Enamel - Flame Red - UA-51429 I bought from Auto Body Toolmart. It's a single stage, and currently listed for $74.99 per gallon.

I like the PPG Shop Line paint better, and it is a little more expensive, but the Kirker was great to work with.
