Yikes! Around here it's $100-$150 depending on species and whether it's split or not. Tamarack's our best local wood. We're surrounded by government and logging and mining company land, so there's lots of wood. I suspect a lot that's sold is cut by moonlight, but there's so much in the forest that it doesn't make any difference.
