Sherman, Ya, I know, I had a friend who was shot down during the the battle of Berlin in a Halifax. He was the upper turret gunner. Proud RCAF sargent. One of the nicest people I have ever known. Spent 2 years in a POW camp. Ate pumpkin soup for 2 years and lost a lot of weight. He was the father of an old girlfriend and we all remained friends. Was always sending me prints and books of airplanes. Sandy Carroll, long may you wave my friend!
