Half circles would let you roll it 90+ degrees, which would be enough if you could walk to the other side to work.
Hmmmm, maybe not rings? "Square-rounds"? Flat spots each 90deg, big radius corners, it would sit on the flats for work. But no off angles. Unless you go octagon? I don' think you would need to hire out hoop making, just weld up eight pieces?
