thanks for the input. at this point, i plan on pulling the bed to access what i need. my tank is the type with the large screw ring holding all of the fuel lines and sender stuff. i believe i need to access that to check the system. i am hoping that i will be able to change the line system out from any kloogy clip fittings to regular barb and hose type stuff. i am considering just running biodiesel rated hose from tank to lift pump. i want to replace the lift pump for good measure. i can buy a lift pump, gas tank fill grommet and and the screw ring seal gasket for short money. i believe i will have to drop the tank to swap out the fuel lines, or if i use hose, i can bypass the steel lines between the tank and frame rail. its not really a long run of hose / pipes so I believe hose would be an OK way to go. once i see what is going on there, i'll know more. wish i could just source everything new from dodge and do it all stock, but i do hate their clips / sockets etc..
