Yup, I agree. DA sander will save you a bit of time but it won't do as good of job as a sanding block & appropriate paper & it can make a real mess in the wrong hands.
Stick with hand tools for bodywork...the best shops in the world do.
A DA is a great tool for prepping bare metal before primer after you've used chemical stripper or the like.
