Cold,Cold,Cold in the High NV Desert..but

-21 last night and made it up to +1 this afternoon. About 8 inches of snow on the ground. The 48 PW has been sitting for two days without me driving her. The old Gal still runs 6 volts and no block heater. I went to start her this afternoon, and to no surprise for me, she cranked slow and slow then fired right up. Now shifting gears takes a bit of doing. I usually let the clutch out with the tranny in neutral and let the gear box turn for a while before I even try and move. We have been in this deep freeze for about 2 weeks now. I wish the Global warming would kick in just a bit.
