Hi all i was told to ask my question on hear,
Ok i have a 1976 Dodge Power wagon orange step side bucket seats Adventurer package that i saved from a farm field where it'd been sitting since 1981, i converted the truck from the granny gear 4 speed to a 5 speed stick over drive out of a 1998 Dakota right now it has a junk yard 360 in it but I cracked one of the heads this summer while playing with it and it's a pretty tired motor any how, but threw i fluke i ended up with a 5.7 Hemi out of a 04 Durango and it would be sweet to put it into my old truck. The Hemi has NO wiring or computer or accessories.
Does anyone know how to or have experience in doing something like this???
I'm kind of on a budget "like all of us guys who do it our selves out of our garages when we can afford buying parts" and just can't afford to put a couple grand into a conversazione kit right now.
I am not afraid of cutting welding and customizing and would be able to mount and plume it in with out a problem but i just don't have a clue how to wire up an engine like this or what to do about converting it to carb or figuring out how to make the fuel injection work......
Please help fellow gear heads!
