We have a Ford diesel in one of our Grove yard cranes....same thing. No kidding, it's a 195? Grove hydraulic crane & the Ford industrial 6cyl engine was installed in the 70's. Since then, I started work in 1982 & that engine has run 8hrs a day, 20 days a month.
It's never had a bolt turned on the engine, never an injection pump & it runs day in day out.
Smokes like a bugger on start up & takes forever to start if someone forgets to plug it in but do the math on the hrs....pretty impressive engine.
Wonder why Ford never installed these in their trucks?
