I am not sure about that. All of my machines are built from components. Like the difference between buying a stereo system that has speakers, tuner,cd player and built in amp. vs going after the best speakers, best amp and so on regardless of brands. I have built most of my wire feeders using permanent magnet dc 90 volt motors controlled by regenerative drive motor controls.
Some of my stuff would be overkill for most applications but my automatics have to run 24/7 when we are on the job and they will.
But I think the basics apply to all of the wire feed systems, keep the torch liner as straight as possible and do everything you can to keep things clean and in good shape.
