was on a road trip with the 92 d-250 pulling a trailer through the mountians of virginia. all of a sudden th old cummins started running rough abit then it went to wide open throttle i let off the gas that didnt work so i shut it off and was braking to a stop when it started it self back up and wide open throttle again. I got stopped opened the hood and tried to slow the throttle by hand but didnt work. the turbo and manifold started glowing red for about 2 mins then coolent started spraying out the radiator cap and it shut off.. it will spin over but not start. sounds like its not getting fuel.. has this happened to anyone else? was there something different I could have done to save it? got aaa to tow it to the shop now waiting for morning to see if they can fix it. spending the night in wytheville,va
