OT welder

I have a lincoln pak 100 welder that is given me trouble. Its a 110 volt wire feed and im having a problem with it feeding wire consistantly. I ran it out of wire yesterday and installed a new spool of the same diameter wire and it wouldnt feed. seems to be backing up in the lead. do I need to lubricate it? thanks in advance
