When I isnatlled a power steering kit on my WC truck I had a new pitman arm made. I had it custom shaped to ease the steering arm angles a little throughout the suspension travel range. They are called RareParts.com and do great work. Contact Danny Burgess for a quote. Steering arms on our trucks are factory forged and any heat applied to bend or reshape them will effect the strength. The ball stud is pressed in then silver soldered on as well. Rare Parts makes these ball studs to put in steering arms. I used one on my pitman arm to connect to the linkage. It's number RP27642. If you send them a picture of the knuckle steering arm I'm sure they can fab something up that is stronger than stock and safe. Steering and brakes are the items that you need to be careful with. Any accidents caused by your steering breaking will put you in a world of hurt...Terry
