But I go with Vaughn, the rails are rusted in place. Check for little freeze plus in the ends of the cove bosses, and get some oil soaking into the ones that don't have the plugs/caps. Soak both ends. ATF works well, better if thinned with anydamnthing.
Give it a day or two to soak in, then try tapping on the end of the rails with a soft rod to break them loose. Only one at a time can move out of neutral, don't try to shift with the hammer, just break loose so oil gets in better, Might take a few days to get it soaked enough to move by the lever.
