i hear you about the price. more than a 1000 dollars in supplies to paint my boat. paint will last approx 20 years and dupont will likely still be in business then. we used it on our trucks when we did custom fleets. nasty to apply, but the benefits outweighed the downsides. most boat guys will tell you its better paint than awlgrip.
