This turned into a interesting form, went from Henry rifles to everyone ( myself included) getting calls from the NRA, to Flame throwers to anti gun guy , and critters, very interesting
I never shot a rifle until I had a Drill Instructor standing over my shoulder yelling at me to hit the target... I now have several and enjoy them all , never have been hunting , you can enjoy weapons , go to the range, desert etc. and not want to eat grandma ,or be someone living in fear. now a 45 is considered middle of the road, a 50 Cal or 338 is not going to leave much to chew on after you hit something with that
