My neighbor, I just found out, feeds them. And he just found out I shoot them. He lost his hunting privileges years ago for poaching an elk. Anyway, the squirrels are almost as bad as the pack rats, with the exception of lacking the habit of stealing everything. But they get into the attic, the crawl space, the pump house, or anywhere they can. My .17 pellet rifle does a good job, and my neighbor can't hear it. :)
