I went to church with a vet of Pearl Harbor. He always had to walk with a brace on his leg from an injury that he recieved later on in the war from the attack on the Lexington.
My uncle got caught up in the Phillipines early on. His brother told me that he had visted him later on in the hospital at Pearl, and there were still bullet holes in the walls of the hospital.
