I hate electrical problems. I have sold vehicles because I couldn't find them.
I have a voltmeter gauge in the dash. It moves between 14+ volts and 12 volts, intermittently, but does not necessarily coincide with the dash light coming on. The really frustrating part of this whole process is that the system worked perfectly for about 6 months, then started this. I have to agree that there must be a bad or weak connection. I am going to try Will's suggestion of grounding the back of the alternator to the engine/frame. And I am going to go back and check the terminals again. It's difficult to trouble shoot something that only happens while driving, and not while idling in the garage.
