What Chris said is how I put my WF waterpump back on. Stuck fan in shroud and put pump on and then fan. My problem was I spent an hour trying to get the bolts in to hold the fan. A few would go in but not all. After much cussing and throwing stuff I took the pump back off and discovered the holes were not exact on my water pump. Took it back to the store and they ordered 2 more in and those holes matched the fan. For some reason the one water pump had slightly different hole pattern.
