I have a 1951 early 420 semi-synchro tranny out of a pilothouse 1.5 ton. I have changed out the main drive pinion to match my WC-12 bellhousing. It should all bolt. The only thing that is holding me back is the Ambulance heater I have in my truck. This tranny has the brake lever mounting holes on the front and center right edge of the gearshift lever housing. The original non-sychro tranny has them at the center and rear right edge of the glh. The Heater is in the way of the Brake and TC lever since both are moved forward and to the right 1.25". I guess I could remove the Ambulance heater and put back the single motored Arvin that was in the truck when I bought it 25 years ago. Anyone have any Ideas?
