A fan blade wrench is a deep offset box wrench with a loooooong handle. In use, it comes in vertically throught the rectangular hole in the top of the fan shroud. Hook it on a bolt head, and push on the fan blade to break the bolt loose. Then pump the handle up and down, spinning the blade and pump until the bolt is loose.

You may want to unhook the hood prop and lay the right side hood onto a pillow on the driver's side for access to the 'blade wrench port' in the shroud.

Fan blade wrenches turn up on ebay, or make your own by welding an extension on the appropriate 1/2" box wrench.

For belt removal, removing the bolt in the generator may give you more stroke to skip the belt off the pulley. Then jam the belt between fan blades and turn fan to feed belt around until it comes out.

If you are an OE perfectionist, buy a pump with zerk and bronze bushing and leather packing. Otherwise, buy a modern pump with a sealed ball bearing set up and no zerk. It will last much much much much longer.
