It had been loaded onto the trailer with a fork lift, backwards.
We backed it into the driveway, then used a high-lift jack to get the front bumper onto the top of an empty oil drum.
Driving the trailer out from under worked fine. Right up until the rear wheels got to the top of the ramps. Next time, maybe I use the parking brake? Anyhow, rear rolled down the ramps, oil drum fell over, front crossmember's big center drop landed on the drum, compressing the air inside, and the front got gently lowered to the ground.
Geeze I wish I was smart enough to have planned it that way.
