I would seriously inspect the quality of work/fabrication done in the conversion. Is the wiring done neat or is it a rats nest. Then what is the condition of the 350/turbo 400. If all above is good, then it will be a nice conversion and should be a fun machine.
Also check for frame rust and body rust. If you find any, can you do the needed repairs ?
If not, body work will and a lot to the cost.
Being a M37, body parts are easily found.
As a side note, you mention its a 55 M37 and you mention your buying your first Power Wagon. M37's are NOT Power Wagons. They are not the same, nor do they share the same parts, except in some cases such as 3rd members and 230 engines.
As mentioned, if all check out good, and the price is right, this could be a nice find.
