I just weighed my '56 a few months ago to get it registered. I took it to a certified scale at a truck stop. With winch bumper it weighed 5,400 lbs. I was not in the truck, but I had half a tank of fuel and the wood of the bed was also replaced with metal. Hope that helps because that helped me verify my weight!
