I'm using a dual-circuit master cylinder (1-1/4" bore) from a 1968 Dodge w300 318 V8 for a brake upgrade to my 1957 W200 Power Giant. Pls see http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/more...102&cc=1101395.

The so-called primary outlet (closed end of MC) is 1/2-20 and the secondary (flange / open end of MC) is 9/16-18. I believe this is a drum / drum master. It has residual pressure valves built into each outlet, presumably these are approx 10 / 10.

My only problem is I don't know which outlet gets connected to the front wheels and which to the back. One shade-tree rule of thumb is that the bigger reservoir goes to the front, but this unit has equal size reservoirs. I don't have the shop manual for this year, and online search has yielded bupkus. Maybe someone can help?

(Other details for those interested) Am retaining floor mount pedals, using stock wheel cylinders and drums, will have separate Power Vacs for front and rear brakes, vacuum canister and check valve. Maybe a prop valve if necessary.

Thanks in advance.
