Yes, I have seen Gary's site. From that same site: "The stock cast iron intake is a dual plane design which dramatically improves torque and throttle response in stock motors; be it a two barrel or four barrel manifold. Stock motors do not operate much above 5000rpm and need the dual plane design for street driveability. However, the stock cast iron four barrel intake will be a good strip performer for the average street/strip Poly as well."

We are not building a drag racer. I just want to be comfortable on the Interstate and be able to climb the WV mountains a little easier. We plan to install an NOS Stromberg WW3 with auto choke with manual overide. We'll see how that does before trying to go with a 4-barrel. The archives say to avoid Holleys for off-road use.
