How about a piece of square tubing? Cut it lengthwise, bend to the arch with a mallet while between two blocks?
My latest home bender technology is to remove my vise jaws and replace with 2' long pieces of cold rolled bar stock. Clamp the lip, bend by hand and mallet, then sharpen the corner with a steel hammer.
