I have been happy running the stock drums. but disk are much much less maintenance. I live in a mild climate so have never had power wagon brakes over heat and they dont fail when wet like later wider drum brakes do. I think because they are so skinny the water escapes rapidly from the shoe surface. adjustment takes some focus as they are a fixed design so adjustment is everything. When fit correclty they work great. add a hydravac and even better.
