thank goodness i got rid of the rig job they had in there and removed the electric fan and what appears to be the ole radiator from the 237 taxi which is quite smaller and than the ffs but it was a mopar radiator and the fin design according to the fellow that worked on it is of antique vintage so i assume it was from the taxi but smaller I was gonna hook it up but did not hold water so I went hunting
stole the fan from another truck and now it looks right
right now i am 4 in. from the fan but I can move the radiator back another in. and then may use a spacer to get me closer or may see how the shroud works that I can also steel from the 230 in the other truck
being that the radiator is way forward from where it was now and just inside the grill it is like already in a shroud given the proximity of the sheetmetal now surrounding it, after i move the radiator back an in. which will put me at 3 in. from the fan I am going to fire her up and see how she does
could always move the engine forward(lol)just joking
however if one wanted to put a longer 5speed tranny without modifying the jack shaft one could move the motor forward and also get some distance between the block and the firewall and keep the heat down
