I have a flow through electric pump installed in my command car near the frame. renued gas tank and all new lines. zenith carb. if all is in good working order, you will not need the electric. i havent used it. on a truck with a rusty tank, bad fuel or bad lines, you will encounter fuel issues. i have vapor locked a few times, most recently waiting to get into a new sonic on long island with the kids. 1 hour plus creeping along. shut down motor, hard to restart. poured a bottle of water on the fuel pump, started right up. i do not believe the new gas is our friend....
