I learned the hard way on the Sno-Cats that there are many different versions of the 8-3/4 rear end. As well as different lengths, there are three different spline counts. Off the top of my head, I think the oldest are 11 spline, the newest are 32 spline and in between there was some in-between number like 16. It's something to look out for if you're trying to mix and match.
