scam a minute in ny. i admit i sent an email inquiry to a guy selling a skiff i wanted to buy for my son. as soon as i got a reply about the boat stating the the paint is excellent condition (boat was fiberglas gel coat) and the guy was deploying for overseas service, i knew right away it was a scam.
