Vintage 1970 Dodge W200 Power Wagon.

I bought this 3/4 ton truck from the 2nd owner, who purchased it from the original owner, who was a farmer in North Eastern Oregon - which is high desert. The story is that it was used as a farm truck most of its life.

This is a factory option 383 instead of the 318. This engine has a higher torque and HP rating than a 440! The following year the HP and torque were intentionally decreased to keep insurance rates lower.

Last muscle truck.
4 barrel, but the original carb is no longer on the engine. It now has the only non-stock item - the Edelbrock 1406 - a good solid carb. I believe the mileage is 57k - based on the inspection of the compression and the valley - there is absolutely zero carbon build up.

4 speed manual transmission,
Warn hubs, and manual brakes - manual steering.

This truck is still 90% original paint - the 2nd owner replaced the floors with pan purchased from Vintage Power Wagons. He then repainted the floors in the original desert turquoise. He did a nice job. He did not replace the door seals - and I've had a hard time locating them.

All glass is good but there is one tiny impact on the windshield that is not migrating. There are some small dings and scratches, and the paint is a little thin in some spots but overall this is a very nice truck as most of these old Power Wagons are trashed. It is missing the "D" on the hood.

The truck is rock solid, especially the frame rails and rockers, and the bed does have a rust hole in the front passenger corner. I think it sat for a long time and leaves collected and ate thru. We considered welding in new metal and rhino lining the whole bed after sand blasting it. but I reconsidered that the new owner might want to inspect the metal before. I don't want to cover up anything.

It runs and drives great and everything works including all lights, gauges, heater, wipers, turn signals. etc. the 383 is incredibly powerful - she scoots like a muscle car. I believe even the clutch is original based on the mileage, the tires are worn but not dangerous - it could use some tall skinnies IMO.

This is a good survivor..
Any questions, call (619) 820-2242.
Sold as is.
Price is $5,000 obo.
