I first joined in the late 50's and was a member on and off for many years. It's true, they are the loudest voice for the firearm community, but it's sort of like the AARP, loudest, but have an agenda that is not reflective of my convictions. I have sort of lost it for the NRA, it seems they want to make movie stars of themselves at my expense. I don't need them making movies showing me how to shoot the latest in the never-ending parade of AR-15's or going on exotic hunting trips, also at my expense. These days they are more or less parasites living off our needs, like realtors and lawyers. Do we really need them? Just one mans opinion.
