Thats what I told the wife as I left for the shop. The boys said what are we going to work on this morning?Just going to make shure the brakes are in good shape,thats all.Great cant wait to remove those big lug nuts.Thats when it all started. Grease seals then a pinion seal, free up a rusted thing or two. Look at those old dried brake hoses.Good thing those front brake riviots are made out of brass, the drums just started to scrape!!Pack all those wheel bearings. Might as well paint a thing or two.On the second day of a few hours one of the boys said, Dad whats that dripping out of the front end of the truck??WHAT!!! Look the oldest son said its green? WATERPUMP!!Just a few more hours on the brakes an I can start on the pump. Just keep the hood down till we finish the brakes? All this work,but we all get a warm kinda good feeling as we wash all that old grease an dirt off are hands. I wonder hou work on the old gal the last time??Just a couple of hours!!! Thats how it all starts. Thanks for all you help. Bill
