I spent a year in Taiwan in 96. I thought there would be some left there since our military was active there until the late 1970's, but didn't a single old truck. I only saw two 1960's cars in running shape the entire year.

Then went to Korea for 4 months. Drove around a lot but didn't see any there either. But I didn't stray too far from the main highways because it was winter time. Might be some in the mountains.

Didn't see any on visits to Singapore, Thailand, Japan, or the Philippines either. I think the lack of parts and the fact that everyone wants to drive new cars hurts the chances of finding useable running old vehicles over there. And in the tropical areas, the jungle covers up anything that is left in one place for any length of time.
