Did it work? I replied to your reply (see post below). The bleeder screw is important but if you have nothing but air in the master cylinder and line, you won't find it very helpful. Once the master cylinder has fluid in its inner workings and starts pumping, the bleeder screw will work and is necessary to complete the elimination of air from the system.
