OK, here's the story, I took my WDX out for a drive today over to the next town. I'm in a parking lot and this guy walks by "Hey nice power wagon, ya wanna buy another one ?" "whata ya got ?" I ask
It seems that this guy traded $700 worth of sand & gravel to some farmer for this truck with the intention of restoring it...but has since lost interest and now would rather have the $700
I didn't go look at it, but from what he told me it's a 1948 WDX, no bed but it does have the winch.
If anyone is interested (really) I'll go check it out and let ya know what I see.
The truck (and me) is located in central Utah, we're about 150 miles west of moab on I 70 around the town of Richfield.
I have too many projects going right now to buy it myself, but would be happy to do what I can to see that a deserving PW'er gets the truck.
