1942 WC-51 #4290-81659716(w/ arctic cab enclosure)
Overall the truck is in very good condition. Fenders and body metal
all very straight and almost rust free. Arctic cab (military ordnance)
was manufactured in '52 and is complete and straight. I still have the
old farmers flat-bed that came on the truck. Some brackets were welded
to the frame to allow for installation; otherwise very few
modifications...Odometer shows about 16,000 but speedo doesn't
function. Truck runs and drives well (needs water pump seal) with
original 230 6-volt system. Some rather ridiculous rewiring was done in
the cab involving a coleman fuel can improvised into a makeshift gauge
panel but dash and factory gauges left intact. Three combat wheels and
Three non-combat wheels all with tires in various condition. Truck has
been garaged for two years.

1942 WC-52 #4290-81609819(w/front-mounted boom)
I purchased this truck with the main intention of swapping the
wide-box bed over onto my WC-51. The bed has seen some hard use but is
serviceable. According to my measurements it would fit the 51's arctic
cab like a glove. The truck is driveable. I was informed by the man
who delivered the truck(he seemed to know a lot about the history) that
the powerplant (230) only has about 40-50 hours on it. The date on the
block is '53 sometime. At any rate it purrs. Otherwise the truck is
pretty rough and would need some serious tlc. The winch works and the
12 foot boom on the front required major modifications but it works
well. The front diff. has a busted axle, No brakes at all, radiator
shot, fuel tank pretty shot, etc, etc. Truck has two combat wheels and
four non-combat wheels all with tires.

Price is $4500.00 for both.

The trucks are located in Park County, Colorado (about 90 miles west of
Denver)
