Swap WC front axel for PW front axel?

I've got a front axel housing on my B4PW that has been beat up (broken axel shafts/trachta joints /bad wheel bearings) so the knuckle ball at one end is distorted, as well as a dent in the front of the pumpkin that scrapes on the ring gear. I have a housing from a WC, measures the same, only difference is in the right shock mount. Anybody have any experience with making this swap? Anything I'm overlooking? Thanks! Rob
