remove the steel line from the cylinder
inspect the flare nut seat
slide the nut up the line
inspect the line for cracks
inspect the flare at the end of the line
for cracks & also make sure the flare
is complete (compare with NEW line if you are
not sure what it should look like)and not rusty
check the male seat on the master cylinder
then make sure the line seats in the cylinder
without the nut
