I definitely prefer the roominess of the M37 cab. I don't have much experience with the civilian PW except for a brief drive in Jonas' swivel frame, and a little bit of driving of my telephone truck, both of which seemed to cramp me in all directions. I wouldn't hazard a guess about ride or power. The M43 rides nice and smooth, but an empty M37 rides as rough as anything you could imagine.

I like the vertical glass of an M-series cab. There's almost never any glare and even if it's very scummy or muddy, the streaks don't obstruct the vision. Also, square glass is easy to replace. On the other hand, in a place where it rains to any extent or is very cold and windy, the typical M-series cab has an amazing number of opportunities for leakage. Driving in the rain, the water will get through the winshield and spit on you, even if the rubber is pretty good, and the door glass, even under the best of conditions only barely comes somewhat near to the general vicinity of the so-called weatherstripping. It seems to me a civilian cab ought to seal up much better.
