Well, in the process of replacing the fuel filter pin/seat, I stripped out the threads in the carb bowl. I purchased a Time-sert thread repair kit and fixed it. Had to drill out the old stripped threads, counter bore for the insert, tap the threads for the insert, install the insert, then install the new seat. Worked as advertised.

Finally got the carb installed and fired up the PW today! Running for the first time in 22 years. It did not want to stay running at slow idle but smoothed right out at a fast idle. Only a little smoke at first. Will adjust the idle tomorrow.
