More Getting the Drums Off

I'm working on brakes on a 57 Power Giant W200 4x4 w/ a Dana 44 3000 lb 6-lug axle.

Have made some progress on getting the front drums off. Removed the 6 bolts that hold on the locking hub mechanism and removed associated parts. Am now looking at what looks to be a 2-1/2" axle / bearing retainer nut. The edges of the hex look like the last guy used a chisel to remove it. So is this the last step--find a 2-1/2" socket and reomve the nut and outer race and then it's drum in my hands?
