the problem if you are running 900s you will have is the inner will not clear the ear on the brake drum so you will have to turn a hair off the the drum, if you are going disc you may have enuff clearance
I had a pair once and had plus or minus and inch between the tires but don't have them anymore, pretty much as far out as you can go tho, maybe someone has a set and can measure
the factory sets were different than regular duals as either one was a special outer wheel that mated to original wheel or that had a spacer that mated two singles
or they had special spacers
