I work for a trailer mfg company. I reccomend this 7k jack that bolts on.

You can buy the matching plate, or make one to weld on the trailer.
The drop leg jack is really nice, you only need to raise or lower the jack a few inches by cranking, then simply unpin the foot and raise it or lower it.
