Seems like maybe a handy thing, if it can really tell you if the spark plug is sparking without having to pull the boot off, stick a screwdriver, and make a spark gap between it and ground. It's supposed to do magneto and battery ignitions. Claims to be able to tell you not only if there's a spark, but if the spark plug wire is broken. I spent a long time futzing with my big Stihl recently trying to see if it had spark or not. I didn't think it did, but then when I tried it again after dark, I could see a spark. Couldn't see it in the daylight, though, so I wasted time trying lots of other stuff.

I can't seem to find much information on it though. It's not particularly cheap and I don't need another useless tool sitting in a drawer. If it does what it says, it could be pretty handy, but the question is does it do what it says?
