Yes, step studs are available from many sources. However, I question the strength of the finished product. Even though the 3rd member is retained with 7/16" dia fasteners,
its only retained in the housing with 3/8" fasteners. There has to be a loss of strength, but I dont know how to calculate how much strength is lost, or if its enough to me meaningful ??? There had to be a strength reason Dodge changed to 5/16" fasteners on the 9.625" 3rd member.
